As far as I can tell from the purchasing spellcasting services section of the Organised Play Guide I can, but it seems very extreme, so I thought I would check here to see if anyone knows whether I can’t. It seems like a very useful thing to have, since I would be able to keep it between adventures.

No, you cannot. Only the spells listed in the Guide can be created by a higher caster than the minimum required for the spell.
You can have a player character cast the spell for you. You have to pay the material cost. Have the GM initial the player character's PFS number (with character number) on the chronicle.
