Waters of Lamashtu

Hi! I would like suggestions for PF2 stats on Waters of Lamashtu. Here's what first edition had to say:

https://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Waters%20of%20Lamashtu

Generally created by a level 3 spell (i.e. level five casters; except alchemists get it earlier).

Drink it and you have to make a Fortitude save (DC per spellcaster).

Success and you "only" become violently ill. Failure and you become insane (represented as 1d6 Intelligence ability loss) and you deform (represented as 1d6 Dexterity ability loss).

Now, I'm not primarily interested in the spell. My interest is in the "item" - one dose of Waters of Lamashtu.

My players are about to find some Waters of Lamashtu. What does it do in PF2? How much is it worth?

---

Would I be doing it correctly if I aimed for a level 5 consumable (30 gp)?

I assume a poison would be the PF2 way to go. Except as I understand it, poison never has any effect if you succeed on the initial save.

DC 21 Fortitude save (DC 17 if only external exposure)

Stage 1
Sickened 1. Also Clumsy 1 and Stupefied 1 (1 minute)

Stage 2
Sickened 2. Also Clumsy 2 and Stupefied 2 (1 hour)

Stage 3
Sickened 3. Also Clumsy 3 and Stupefied 3 (1 day)

Stage 4
Mutates into a chaotic beast such as a Sinspawn (GM picks appropriate for your level)

If you wish to mirror the ability it'd be Stupefied & Clumsy.
1d6 stat damage would translate as levels (0,1,1,2,2,3) which doesn't translate well (especially since you're now hitting all the mental stats) and such variance doesn't tune with PF2 balance.
I wouldn't change a 1-shot into a progressive poison, but rather go with:
Critical Success: No effect
Success: Sickened 2
Failure: Stupefied 1 & Clumsy 1 for 1 minute
Critical Failure: Stupefied 2 & Clumsy 2 (until cured/rested)
(plus some flavorful, temporary physical alterations)

Funnily enough, I came to DC 21 save too (5 level + 4 Stat + 2 Trained) based on where the spell would be.

Can't help you with price offhand, though the poisons are good guide. I wouldn't necessarily call it a poison if it wasn't originally.

Thank you.

No it wouldn't *be*a poison, it'd be an "other consumable" just like (un)holy water.

As for why you want to drink it voluntarily, I found this:
