Errata in Gamemastery Guide partial release

Rules Discussion

The purpose of this thread is to collect likely errata (mistakes, typos, etc) in the recently released "Gamemastery Guide: Monster and Hazard Creation," a partial release and preview of the true, forthcoming GMG. The point of collecting them is to make life easier for the devs. Therefore, errata reports here should not be disputed here as that doesn't make life easier for the devs but does clutter the thread. If you can see that someone's report is somehow bogus, rest assured the devs will see that too, and leave be or dispute elsewhere. Thank you.

Terrible: Some statistics can dip even lower than low, to terrible. This indicates a truly awful statistic that still isn’t game-breakingly bad. A spider’s Intelligence is poor, as is a dero stalker’s Will save.

"Poor" should be another "terrible."

Extreme attack bonus is 2 higher than High at every level but 11. Is that intentional?

There seem to be no explicit guidelines for setting the DCs of non-spell abilities (with the exception of auras).

I noticed this too, but I'm pretty sure we just use the spell DCs. Which spell DC you should use for a given ability is of course something that could user clearer direction but it is at least workable right now.

Oh yes, it's not a huge deal and the spell DCs work just fine (and are probably intended to be used for abilities anyway). It just, as you said, could use clearer direction. The absence of said direction certainly seems like an oversight.

Totally. I control F'ed through the whole document for the word DC to make sure I didn't overlook it.
