Doubt about split sessions

Hello all! So I ran the first half of 2-07 online with 5 players. Due to time constrains (who'd know that all those gremlins would take so much time, eh?) I had to cut the session in half. 2 players won't be able to continue the game, but 2 other wanted to join in. Since it is sort of a Quest Scenario, storywise I saw no problems with that.

Now, the big question, how the hell should I report this??? Give Chronicle Sheets just for the 3 players that ran the entire scenario or include the ones that didn't complete it???

Thanks a lot in advance!

Per the Society guide, players only get XP for completing at least 3 encounters, and get Fame if they complete the success condition. Based on this, I would say your absent players would get:

- 0 XP
- 0 Fame
- Credits adjusted as if they did not complete the missing two encounters, as detailed within the scenario.

The two that jumped in would get the game, just probably a different amount of credits.

That's what the rules as written say to me. That being said...this seems very strict and I might be off base?

Well, it actually made sense to me. And the two players would actually gain 1 fame, since they completed the main scenario objective. If nobody has any more insight, that is what I'll do here.

Thanks!
