I would like to get everyone's opinions on this,

Primal Elementals

The most well known of all elementals are the primal elementals, creatures composed entirely of air, earth, fire, or water with roughly humanoid shapes. Many primal elementals are named after natural disasters, ranging from those relatively small in scale (and roughly the size of Medium humanoids) to much larger ones (often the size of small buildings). Primal elementals can often be found in areas where their namesake disasters have recently struck.

So does this Catagory of Elemetals refer to the: Living Landslide, Living Waterfall, Living Whirlwind, Living Wildfire or to the Elemental Avalanche, Elemental Hurricane, Elemental Inferno, Elemental Tsunami or to both?

I get impressions from all three, so I'd love to hear everyone elses thoughts and opinions on this.

"Primal Elemental" refers to any elemental composed entirely of a particular element, so all the creatures that in PF1 were just called "Elementals", like the Fire Elemental, or Lightning Elemental.

The term exists to differentiate those sorts of elementals from other creatures native to the elemental planes (which in PF2 are also called "Elementals" since there is no general "Outsider" type). Mephits, Genies, Xorns, Salamanders, Azers, etc. are all elementals, but not "Primal" Elementals.

Ok I had not thought of it in that sense. Most intriguing.
