Hello everyone..! I am currently making a Alchemist Goblin Tinkerer who loves to invent new ways to use current weapons and armor to use and I wanted to know if I can do it Within the Legal confines of the rules. Its mostly because I wanted to RP him as an eccentric creator who wants to show that goblins can match and even outsmart other races through his inventions while also being helpful to them.
Here is a rundown of what I wanted to do:
1.Take 2x shields/2x HandCrossbows/a Pair of Gauntlets to fuse into protected projectile launchers for delivering alchemical phials or modded Bomb Arrows that shoot by tugging a special lever or pressing a hand switch.
2.Crafting Special crossbow bolt cartridges that can be loaded on the previous invention with and without special payloads or half of one alchemical reagent to mix with others that have been made to splatter on enemies and cause an explosion or reaction when the other hits it.
Edit: I have more ideas, but these two are some of the major ones

In a normal game, you can talk to your GM about creating new gear like that, so they can make a ruling on whether it's possible, what's necessary, what the mechanics will be, what the costs will be etc.
With the limitations necessary to make Organized Play work, only official gear exists, so that it will have the same costs, mechanics, etc at every table. Inventing new gear and taking it from table to table is definitely not a legal possibility for an Org Play character.

Would paizo be willing to take a suggestion for a crafter’s guide book to allow some characters make special unique gear only for that character or would it be redundant?

Best you could probably get is to take existing gear and just re-flavour it as though you invented this new style, but has all the normal traits and effects the original item has.
Ty for the idea..! I was kinda trying to think in that fashion, but didnt realize how my ideas stacked up to the rules.
