Haven't finished it yet, and the first few episodes are a bit slow, but there's a cool setting and plot, as well as good acting and production values.
Also, the Nerdist teamed up with the series creator, Amazon, Legendary Television, and Monte Cook Games to create a free Cypher System setting based on the show.
Yeah...I really enjoyed the setting and world building of the show than I think the actual plot at times. Some really great creature designs, especially the monster.

The RPG setting book is about 90% world building and only about 10% game mechanics, so if you simply want to read more about the setting it's worth looking it. It also has the various proper names written out (not how I expected some of them would be) and maps of the various countries, so some nice background information. Guessing a lot was pulled from the show bible they developed the show with.
I saw the preview, but haven't had time to watch yet.
Since it premiered over Labor Day weekend, I thought there would only have been 2 episodes so far. Are they airing more than once a week?
It's an Amazon Original. They dumped the entire season at once.
