Rules Questions

how does the call out from intimidate work exactly ./ it says it works as a duel .. but if used during a battle .

situation .. lvl 9 to be ..

in a mythic campaign

a paladin gets 2-3 enemies

the summoner/synthesist uses call out on one of the enemies ./intimidate is +29

9 ranks +3 cha +8 racial ( skilled intimidate eidolon ) +9 (feat intimidating prowess )
Number might get higher depending on to be gained magic stuff

how are the duel rules then .. can yer team backstab/ flank etc ?

The first thing you need to do is confer with your group if the alternate dueling rules is something your group is interested in using. You can find those rules here:

But basically, no. You would use Call Out, and if successful, force the opponent to duel with you. Which means he would target you, and attempt to *only* target you for the duration of the successful intimidate check. However, since you were the one who used Call Out, you initiated the duel... Call Out just forced them to accept the duel. If either party interrupts the duel, the duel is effectively over, and the interrupting party forces their participant to lose. Meaning if your team helps, he's no longer compelled to duel with you. Given that this is a spur-of-the-moment duel, that neither party entirely agreed to, you can expect his teammates to help him. *Normally* this would end the duel, but since your use of Call Out is what is compelling him to duel, as long as your team doesn't breach the duel, then the enemy you compelled is still stuck dueling you. It really isn't a good in-combat use of the feat unless you are in an honor-bound society where both parties would understand the importance the importance of letting the duel play out... otherwise the duel isn't really going to last very long... In other words, Call Out effectively forces your team to not help you (unless they want to dishonor you by breaching your duel), but allows the enemies team to continue to help him (Because they don't care about the honor of the duel most of the time)
