Hi,
I'm very new to Starfinder, I've only played in one convention. I heard that the Scoured Stars Incident is very important to the setting, and also that there was an important Adventure Path or something that recently wrapped up that storyline.
With my 01 character at level 1, and Organized Play moving to a new storyline each "season", and OP being the only venue I'm likely to play in, I figure I won't ever end up playing through the previous season(s) of storyline.
But! I'm curious what "happened" and I figure my character will want to know too. (I've read the info in the Roleplaying Guild Guide, but there seems to be more that I don't know...)
So is anyone willing to please explain the metaplot "up to now" to a newbie? Or at least those parts that aren't likely to be played again in OP. (Unless spoilering myself as a newbie is likely to ruin my fun.)

Jadnura: This artifact told me all about this new trinary system.. alright, pathfinders, EVERYONE INTO THE SYSTEM WOO HOOOOO archeology with more daka!
Giant golden shield goes up around all three suns...
The remaining starfinders: "Well. hell.. alright, lets figure out how to get em out. Also, we're recruiting a bunch of level 1s now and we'll take anybody at this point ....
Season 1 was mostly getting them out and tracking down what the heck happened.
What wrapped it up was the multi table special(s)
If you're willing to play online, online tables pop off in a more or less random order or you can request scenarios.

Awesome, thanks!
Ah yes, Jad "Insufficient Data" nura.
(in character as Ts*eki)
People are saying many things about Jadnura (not least the hostile media) but incomplete information is the reason we explore at all. By definition, every expedition begins with risk and insufficient information.
No, Jadnura's mistake was taking 80% of the Society on a single mission, all together.
