Champions and Magic Items

Curious question, one that I have been in discussion with my groups about for a minute now. Can Champions use Scrolls, Wands, and/or Staves normally? While lacking the spellcasting feature they are specifically noted to be trained in Divine spells under their Devotion spells. I'm happy to be wrong, but it really seems they should be able to, being the Divine defenders of the faith and all that. If someone could pull an official statement, that would be handy, cause so far people have been remarkably unhelpful.

Devotion spells are focus powers though, which is different. And while you are trained in Divine spells, you do not have a specific spell list, which the Champion has not.

You could use wands and scrolls by taking the "Trick magic item" feat.
