Pathfinder 2e - ScreenReader edition?

Hello!

As above, I'm looking for a screen reader version of the pathfinder 2e core book, which I've purchased on this account. A version like this was released with the playtest, and it was really great for access with JAWS.0

Also, I've emailed the customer service address listed a few times. Not sure if there's a technical issue?

Do you mean a PDF?

If you did not get your Core Rulebook as part of a subscription, you would have to buy the PDF separately. You should be able to find it on the product page for the Core Rulebook.

It looks like you purchased the PDF, so I am not sure exactly what you are asking. I am going to move this over to the Website Feedback forum as that is the forum the tech team and webstore teams look at. They'll be the ones who will be able to answer that question for you.

During the 2E Playtest there was a text-only release of the rulebook, that was mostly "unformatted" so that it was highly compatible with screen reader apps (like JAWS). I found an announcement about it on this forum thread

I suspect that's what SageAvatar is asking for (though, so far, it looks like the answer is: there isn't one... at least at this time)

I believe the intent is the standard pdf SHOULD be screenreader friendly (I don't know about 2e per se but my friends that use screenreaders say Paizo's pdfs generally read very well in JAWS). The problem in the playtest specifically was that they had not put alt text in for the action icons and the like, and there was color coding that as far as I can tell is not in the final product,which prompted an unusually necessary special release.

I suggest to OP to download your pdf if you haven't; if JAWS isn't parsing it well then post on the website what isn't working specifically.
