Hello (and hope this is in the right place)!
I note several discussions regarding Pathfinder 2 rules, as well as campaign styles, have been moved into the "Homebrew" subforum.
But that's a forum where "here's my new ancestry" or "look at three new feats" live.
That has nothing to do with discussions to not use hero points, or to remove level from the proficiency bonus. Tweaking the rules is, in my mind, very different from creating your own content (new monsters, spells, classes...).
Most importantly, I feel these discussions fare poorly in the Homebrew forum. I simply think people browsing it isn't interested (and I don't blame them!) while the people who ARE, isn't looking there - they're reading General and Rules.
I can understand you don't want newcomers to be confused, so I can respect you want these discussions out of Rules (where I personally feel they belong), so here's my suggestion:
Would it be possible to get a Variants subforum set up?

It will be interesting if some houserules will become official options with the GMG. but until then, dropping hero points is a houserule = homebrew.
That is exactly what the "Homebrew" forum is for. House rules is homebrew.
These two replies sound as they did not understand or even read what I wrote.
I am not disputing that such discussions are not official rules.
I am saying that since they languish in that forum, and that this could be because homebrewing is generally about creating new stuff, they might garner more or better discussion elsewhere. (to summarize myself)
So I am respectfully asking the powers that be to set up a Variants subforum :)
