Wanting Paizo admin opinion on buying items

I have a level 3, 8 prestige character I want to buy an Adamantine scimitar on. Under the always available tab in the guidelines, it states that mundane weapons and Armor are always available including special materials except dragonhide. Does this mean I can purchase the scimitar or am I locked to prestige cap

You can buy an adamantine scimitar. The “always available” list bypasses the prestige cap.

Always Available is exactly what it means. No need to worry about Fame. Items on chronicle sheets are also "always available" which is why I like to make almost all of my purchases from chronicles. I don't have to look to see if I have enough Fame.
