Party might "miss" Hook Mountain, need insight

Greetings everyone!

Fort Rannick didn't went well as Shalelu and the Arrows died (as well as two PCs, but they could flee with one body). Turtleback has been evacuated (without Lucrecia knowing it, that's the good part) and the party went back to Magnimar.

They took their time and the ogres at Skulls crossing kept working. Black Magga happened when they get to Turtleback. They clean the fort, but Lucretia, thinking her mission is a succes sees no reason to fight and only stay to taunt them and teach them the name of Mokmurian before fleeing to Barl.
(For the fun Papa had the dead PC on his knee, his head replaced by a horse one on witch Shalelu's ears where nailed. He waved at the party with his new toy when they opened the door).

They already met Myriana as they looked for her before going to fort Rannik but couldn't find the Commander corpse (since he's not here). They also think she the reason behind the rain, even after her familiar told them she was not.

The mage can now teleport and they went back to Magnimar with little clue of what to do next, not really willing to go to Skulls Crossing nor watch for Barls fortress (as they don't know there is a fortress). They don't like Magnimar administration nor it's mayor so i'm a little short on NPC to get them back on tracks (they didn't learned much yet and meeting Barl would be nice).

Should i attack on Sandpoint early if they don't go back to Hook Mountain with maybe some ogres cannon fodder added to the attack? Or maybe Lucretia could track them down after all as Barl go back to Mokmurian with his army? If it already happened (or similar) to someone i'm up for some insight!

Well, that looks like it went as bad for them as it could have.

Where did the people of Turtleback Ferry get evacuated to? If you need an NPC, the mayor/priest of Erastil of Turtleback Ferry could ask them to go back and investigate Skull's Crossing - the people of Turtleback Ferry are going to want to go home eventually, after all.

Alternatively, he could come to them and tell them some people are missing from the Ferry, and he's worried they were left behind. They could be some people who refuse to leave their homes, and instead insist the PCs deal with whatever the issue is at Skull's Crossing.


If they don't go to Skull's Crossing or stop the rain, the dam will breach and all that water has to go somewhere. It'll swamp a lot more places than just Turtleback Ferry...including Magnimar. So do they realise that?

If they think Myriana is behind the rain, what do they intend to do about her? I assume they have no idea.

Hi guys!

Sorry it took me a while, but thx for the anwsers!

It went kinda smoother that expected as one of the PC had to start whith a new char and she went for an Ancestor/Community related warpriest, so i just had to give her a dream from her Ancestors showing her the dam, the group and Sandpoint (and the apocalyptic stuff).

The other option was indeed to use Mayor Maelin and his refugees, curently in Whistledown but on their way to Magnimar.
