[PF1] World of Keyva

Homebrew and House Rules

This is the world of Keyva as it is forming up. I don't have a map ready, but I do have Races available. Check them out. Naga are one of the races.

The final race will be the felines. As soon as I decide what kind of felines they are going to be.

D&D 5e stats for some of those? Have you not decided which system yet, or do you run games with different systems in the same world?

I'll be running a game set in the neolithic age using Pathfinder. The D&D 5th stats are for those interested in running the world under D&D.

Mormon fantasy with pagan orcs. Now I've seen everything.

'Saurians are humanoid Tyrannosaurus Rex.' - T.rex had feathers, at least as a crest of light and dark feathers on their heads. Do saurians?

Saurians are shockingly good warriors with Str/Wis bonuses, a bonus feat, a bite secondary attack on their full attack and 2 points of natural armor. It's probably worth toning them down a bit. The RP values in the Advanced Race Guide cannot be trusted to produce a balanced outcome. The same is true of your garou.

It might be worth noting that creatures without legs - like nagas - can't usually be tripped.

What? I don't get this.

Thanks for your suggestions. Actually, the real T-Rex humanoid doesn't have feathers (this is because I asked one if they did have feathers). And I saw a photograph of a T-Rex taken in World War II. No feathers on that T-Rex.

The only Dinosaur humanoid I know of that has feathers is Velociraptor. And yes, I did ask.

He's obviously jealous.

Eltonj is a Mormon and is applying Mormon cosmology to Pathfinder. With unsurprisingly amusing results.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

There's more than PF + Mormon cosmology going on there, see Elton's last reply to me. Basically there's always someone weird enough to make you feel crushingly mundane.

With anyone else, I'd think that it's satire. Not so with this particular denomination.

As to the actual mechanics, eltonj, the nagas have a lot of melee-based racial traits for having a strength penalty. That nullifies most of their abilities.

Okay, I fixed it. I realized that you were right about the naga, and fixed it. They now have a flexible ability score.

I adjusted the Saurian a bit. They have +1 AC natural armor and I removed the bonus feat. They are a 7 RP race right now.

Looks OK to me. The Garou are similar BTW, dropping the bonus feat would about put them on a par.
