With the reworking of Paizo's subscriptions I noticed that the Pathfinder Comics subscription is no longer listed in my tags or on my account details page. Does that mean that the line is officially canceled and the age of Pathfinder Comics is over?

We're in the middle of shuffling some subscription things around; we've already announced some of the bigger changes, especially those surrounding Second Edition, but we have a few more things to communicate after we dot our i's and cross our t's. For the comics sub, we're not able to be very specific yet, but part of the message is that Dynamite is exploring a change of direction for future Pathfinder comics that doesn’t fit our current subscription model. So: not done—just changing.

Oh, the usual, he said despairingly.

I am not big into online life, this website and maybe porn on reddit are the only things I follow regularly. Gamergate struck me as odd, I didn't hear of comicsgate until now. What is the issue here, exactly, and is it distinct from the gaming controversy?

It is distinct inasmuch as it is specifically comics-focused, and in that there was no single individual target at the group's inception. This covers the basics.
I first heard about them after the milkshake photo incident in 2017, but Gail Simone was tweeting about them and Dynamite - obliquely, and with an implied request for privacy - as recently as two weeks ago.

And by "two weeks ago" I apparently actually meant "yesterday."

I feel somewhat responsible for this subforum based on my previous suggestion for it. So I'm hoping it isn't gone.
I'm always a fan of more content. I'm not very good at reading books, the part of my brain that does visualizing doesn't work too well, so I prefer having visuals. So the Pathfinder comics have given me a good insight into Golarion.
