Ah yes... I have greatly enjoyed my time with pathfinder1. My only complaint was that the Thematic books and their refined systems ULTIMATE HORROR and my go to love ULTIMATE INTRIGUE came years and years after release.
I believe WE ALL would benefit greatly having THEMATIC MECHANICAL systems built into the GMG.
Not just a simple paragraph I mean a couple of Pages dedicated to each THEME and mechanics taken from the old systems.
THEMATIC MECHANICS CHAPTER:
1.INTRIGUE verbal duels, Influence system, Contacts etc...
2.HORROR fear level mechanics, hauntings,etc…
3.MYSTERY clues, suspects, changes to dc's etc...
4.WAR masscombat, kingdom influence and running etc...
And give a very quick example on what items should be changed in rarity level. I think new players would love to have the stuff from the old books refined and simplified in the new system. To have a GMG with the old mechanics in one book would be heaven.
I am aware I could just use my old books and convert to the newer dc's but I just thought this would be a Golden opportunity to just have that in the GMG for this edition from the Start!
Thank you for your time and answers,

I think it makes sense to have a whole book expand on them later. An entire book called THEMES would be a dream. But to have just one chapter would be nice. I see feats as being mentioned but not given.
In a chapter detailing feats it could explain how to make a feat tied to themes. Or even within each Theme mention feat creation examples. But keep it small like a few mechanics each Theme. But having Verbal duels and the Influence system(AMAZING BY THE WAY) right off the bat makes playing those games better. This way you wont have a million different ways of DM's doing it. These could be just GO TO examples. So a beginner would have access to them.
I didn't get to PLAY in many games of Intrigue until ULTAMATE INTRIGUE explained how to run one. Lots of people over think mechanical concepts for thematic games and it ruins the tension those games set out to make. HORROR is the worst... without understanding levels of fear and having mechanics for Insanity beginner dm's (THERE WILL BE A LOT COMING FROM 5e)are lost!

I was thinking about this since my friend and fellow GM wants to do some sort of spell jammer campaign. And though the Pirate Dedication was a good model for this if it were expanded to contain class, skill, and general feats within it.
Give some sort of Campaign Archetype for free at level one then let players spend class, skill, or general feats on campaign archetype feats as they level up.

We can see there's a section on "Social Encounter"
So that's at least that... I guess it won't take lot of time before seeing the more "thematically encroched" ones, like the horror mechanics. Maybe not in the Game Mastering guide, but soon I'd say.
