He probably meant the faction missions, which did require things like that on a regular basis. Those are gone now, though. Some of the secondary success conditions that have replaced them have been tough to achieve, but I have not yet seen any that I consider problematic in the way many faction missions were. :P

Conversely, I'd say a lot of the secondary conditions require a reorientation of priorities, compared with how PFS was played in the earlier seasons. I was looking over the secondary conditions document today and noted how many of them my groups would have failed because of the group's approach to the main mission (or because of faction missions that created the conditions of failure).
