Player does not get 'new' post notifier

Hello Paizo-Tech Team,

in one of my games I have a player who does not get 'new' post notification shown in his campaign tab.

Here are some more details:
- The player dropped out of the game at some point in the past and I marked his alias as 'inactive'
- Now, one year later, he was able to rejoin with the group. I reset his alias status as 'active'.
- This, sadly did not help to change the fact that he is not getting any updates for the game.
- I triple-checked it - yes, all his alias are marked 'active' and neither is 'NPC' in the campaign set-up page.

Do you have any idea what this is about and how I can solve it?

Is it possible that at some point he marked the gameplay thread as hidden on the main messageboards page? In that case, not only would he not see (x new) in his Campaigns tab, he would also not even see the Campaign listed in the tab.

Yeah, I think he mentioned the game not appearing in his list of games at all.
Do you know a fix for that?

He needs to go the Play-by-Post forum, click on SHOW ∅ (at the top right of the list of posts, by the searchbox), and then go down the list looking for your gameplay thread. If it was hidden, it will show in gray rather than in blue. When he finds it, he should click the ∅ at the far right to unhide it.

It'll be easier to find if he or someone else posts in it before he goes looking for it, so it'll be nearer the top of the list.

Another good option is to click the Focus button up at the top right side of the messageboards. This will cause the page to only display threads they've visited before, and will likely make Welcome To The Guard much easier to see.
