New SFS Player - What can I used?

I'm a new SFS player and I've heard many people say that several races cannot be used without boons or similar rewards. I've searched for a few hours using phrases like "Which Stafinder Society races require boons?" or "Which Stafinder Society races are legal?" and found only 3rd party mentions of these limitations through various forum posts on here.

Can anyone link me to an official document or other SFS sanctioned source that actually spells out what races (and other character components once I manage to get past my step one, being races) are allowed by default?

2. RACE
Select your character’s race. The choices offered in Chapter 3 of the
Starfnder Core Rulebook are always available, as are the Legacy
races in Chapter 13. Additional races may be available if they are
listed in the Additional Resources document, provided you own a
copy of the appropriate source book. Alternatively, you may play
a race provided by an appropriate adventure appendix printout.
Other races are available as campaign boons; the Chronicle sheet
on which such a boon is listed must be the frst Chronicle sheet
applied to a character.

In summary, every race in the Core Rulebook (in chapter 3 and the legacy races in chapter 13) is legal for play. Every race in any other book requires a boon of some sort to explicitly state that you can play the race.
