Female Tyrants in the Settings History

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Hey all, sorry if this is a strangely specific topic, but one of my PCs is currently building a summoner for the upcomming campaign. They want their eidolon to be a marilith demon, which tend to be born from the souls of Tyrants. He wants his marilith to actually be someone specific to the setting with history, that way we can have more fleshed out RP. We've considered Ileosa and

Return of the Runelords Spoiler:
The recently deceased Alaznist
but we are looking for any other options.

Ileosa is fun, but LE so being a Marilith is odd, and spoiler has her own foibles.

Also, the queens of Irrisen are off the table too, that player is just wrapping up a winter witch Jadwiga character, so thats a little too samey for them.

How about one of the other deceased Runelords? Return of the Runelords 1 has an article which lists all the various Runelords. Pick one who could be a female (although the names can be misleading, e.g., Belimarius).

... Maybe a bandit queen who ruled one of the River Kingdoms a long time ago? Or a drow from somewhere in the Deepearth/Underdark/Darklands? Or some powerful female from Nex or one of the ancient Garundi kingdoms, like the Tekritanin League or the Jistka Imperium? Maybe the tyranny was not long as far as the history books are concerned, but said tyrant did make a cultural impact during her short term "in office".

(I tend to associate the concept of tyrannical rulers with LE, which makes the CE marilith origin a bit odd IMHO. Being CE and in charge does not make for much of a long-term government, unless there is a strong LE balancing factor somewhere. But that's just my opinion. <shrugs>)

There are a few canon female Osirion pharaohs, some of whom were definitely on the bad side. Though they might technically be mummies or liches and not currently available for reincarnation as an eidolon.

Kamaria the Brazen: into Rovagug in a big way.
The Radiant Pharaoh: proponent of fiendish vermin as a dietary supplement. For other people.
Ahabaris I, the Pharaoh of Long Shadows: decadent and cruel in a largely unmemorable way. Torn apart by the mob, so probably not a mummy.

define female tyrants
Female tyrant rulers( IE Queen)
Female Tyrant chieftain
Female Tyrannical noblewoman
Female tyrannical corrupt general in the army of J edgar Hoover 14th?
Tyrannical Female Guildmaster
Tyrannical female admiral/capt. in the Navy of the Cult of the Anti-gnome
female tyrant Bandit queen of the salty sea bandits of Amn
Tyrannical capt. of the guard

Dark Archive

They could also be male tyrants reborn as marilith. Souls and reincarnation doesn't really care about sexes.

That said, CE drow matriach would probably be the easiest one.

Hey guys thanks for the advice. However my player decided to pivot to a new character idea.
