Upgrading / improving Power Armor question

When you improve your power armor - does the damage it does also increase?
For example - the Lv6 Absorbtive Shell does 1d10 Damage. Will this increase if I improve the armor to level 10?
The EAC, KAC, max dex, armor check penalties, strength score, and upgrade slots available get adjusted. Wouldn’t the damage too?

That seems to be the case. Would have expected there to have been a damage boost, but I guess it will just be from the strength going up.

in my opinion there needs to be a gear splat book or this see some serious attention in the next (if there is one) armory book. What we need is more in depth mechanics for upgrading and making our own power armor weapons and firearms not just another book of a couple 100 weapons. Those are nice but there are a lot of people who really love to tinker with their gear that would love this sort of customization.
