I recently added the Starfinders Beginer Box to my side card and was hoping to use the winter discount on this item. I read that you are unable to use this for such things from other manufacturers besides Paizo but was unclear if this also applied to Paizo Preorders.
If this is possible can someone apply the discount for me or let me know how? if not then thats fine as well just wanted to take advantage if possible.

PDFs are the only thing for which Paizo and non-Paizo products make a distinction -- you can use the holiday code for Paizo PDFs but not for non-Paizo PDFs.
You cannot use that code for preorders, which means that many of us waited until this week to put in our orders for January products (as many of them ceased to be preorders at the beginning of the week). Since the Starfinder Beginner Box does not come out until April, there is no way to use the holiday19 code for it.

David knott 242 has got it right, so I'll pretty much just reiterate. The code does not apply to preorder items. If the item became not a pre-order during the time the code is active, the order could then be placed for those items and the code would apply. Since the Starfinder Beginner Box will be in prerelease status for the duration of the application of the code, it will not be able to apply to this item.
