Is there a synopsis for the scoured stars multi-table event? I run a 6-7 player group and purchase the society missions for us to play but am at an impasse due to not meeting the requirements for running the scoured stars. We are about to start the missions directly after the scoured stars but have a huge hole in the story where the scoured star even happens. How do I go about handling this? I do not live in an area that has any organized play within a 200 KM radius.

I get that. I have a whole crew who are in that same boat every Tuesday.
Now,
Due to the Starfinder Society's efforts, they have located a strange artifact, similar to the one that Jadnura used to gain access to the Scoured Stars. After using it, the huge Starfinder fleet descended onto the various planets in the Trinary star system. The Society located clues to surviving Starfinder, dealing with Dinousaurs, Ghost Ships, and demented robots. After the Society had begun rescuing lost starfinders, including First Seeker Jadnura and Historia-6 (the former leader of the Dataphiles) the Society was attacked by a strange race that claimed the Scoured Stars as their holy place. These Jinsuls drove the Starfinder Society out of the Scoured Stars. However, the Starfinders had rescued many, and the mission was deemed a success.
How was that?

Much appreciated. I pay for all the society scenarios so I honestly find it kind of exclusive that because I don’t live in area they run these that my players can’t play them til year later. I get maybe a month or two wait so conventions get early access but this seems overly long for a wait to play something that is available to others.

There's online conventions if you can't find these in meatspace, both with roll 20 and play by post.

In fact, an online convention ran a multi-table #1-99 here back in the fall. Just pop over to the Play-by-Post subforum and search for "Scoured Stars." As a GM who is likewise running this as a home game and trying to work toward an adventure I can't see till next summer, reading those threads was EXTREMELY useful.

Following up on John's comment:
If you want to read almost the entire story of the special, feel free to read my PBP gameplay of it. My group put on rocket boots and managed to get through 85% of the special -- 813 posts in all. I think we missed one encounter in the whole thing.
It was a tough run because the forums kept giving out on us, but my group came back whenever we were up and we made exceptional time.
However... we've been talking about possibly running 1-99 at my live location, Dreamers, at some point in the future. If we can figure out the tech, maybe we can loop you guys in as another table? I'm not certain when we'd be doing it, but if we give it a go should I PM you?
You can run it for no- credit, if you want to give them just the story part.
I don't think they can purchase it. I think that it has to come directly from their Regional Venture Captain and Tonya. But if you could run it for no credit, that would be the way to go, because then you could run it over multiple sessions and play the whole thing. There are so many fabulous parts, and most groups only get to 4-5 encounters, tops.

Thanks for the input guys and the offers of assistance. Technically we wouldn’t be able to setup for a live game at the moment but I guess it is something that would be possible in the future.
And to Hilary, it is much appreciated linking your PBP posts I’ve read through some of them and am getting a good picture of the event and what is a happening so thank you!
