Question about Quig Mechanic and Spell Ampule.

Recently I ran Quig, the iconic mechanic, at a 7th level table. He has slotted on his drone a spell Ampule of Make Whole. Is this accurate or a mistake? The rules for Spell Ampule state that the spell must target a creature and be 1 minute or less casting time. If it's accurate them my own mechanic should be able to acquire these same spell amps, correct?
For full disclosure make Whole has a casting time of 10 minutes and doesn't target a creature.
Thanks,

You're correct about the casting time, but Make Whole can also target creatures:

If a spell targets both creatures and objects, it only affects creatures when used as a spell amp.

I suspect this is no different than Lem's "potion of Shield", which was an illegal item in Pathfinder. Or how Amiri possessed two Combat Traits.

Sometimes Pregens have errors.

The Pregen gets to use it, because that's how they're written, but that doesn't translate as a "rule" that actual characters can cite.

These are annoyances that they should fix. Preferably in the player base favor. Especially with very few ways to repair a drone at this juncture.

Limited ways to properly repair a drone and the one unclear bit in mending IIRC are two of the reasons why I didn't create my mechanic yet.

I really wish there were more options for this.
