I am fairly new to Starfinder and have a question concerning my Rogue. I am debating whether or not to get the Jack of All Trades feat. I have no ranks in several skills. For example, though, say I have a +2 ability modifier along with a + 2 Misc modifier in 1 of those skills. As I understand it, with that feat, I can add double my Operative's Edge bonus which is +2. Double that makes it +4--do I add those other 2 bonuses for a +8 total?
TIA,
kk
P.S. Is there anything else I can do with that feat that I don't know about? What I wrote about above is all I know about that feat.

The Eager Dabbler theme ability of the Spacefarer stacks with the Operative's Jack of All Trades exploit.
If you are a 2nd-level operative (the minimum level required for this to work), you gain a total of a +4 bonus to all of your untrained skills, not +8 (so your final skill modifier is typically 4 + relevant ability modifier). The bonus increases dramatically as your operative's edge ability increases.
When you get to 12th-level and get the Spacefarer theme's Jack of All Trades ability, your total bonus would be +10, or +12 if you rolled a natural 20 on the skill check.
A 20th-level operative doing this would have have a total +14 bonus to all their untrained skills (or +16 whenever they rolled a natural 20 on the skill check).
Does that help at all?

Eager Dabbler is an untyped bonus, so that stacks with Jack of All Trades, anyways.
Many feats, such as Skill Focus, do provide insight bonuses, however, and thus would not stack with the Operative's Edge bonus.

I have a "Dumb Operative" build that I haven't used yet that utilizes the Spacefarer theme and Jack of All Trades exploit, plus Alien Archive (so Life Science gets 3x the Operative's Edge bonus). Intelligence 8 (I chose Kasatha) so that the bonus applies to as many skills as possible.
I think there's an exploit or two in Armory that helps out as well... the trap seeker one I think multiplies the edge bonus for finding traps. Keep in mind that doubling twice just triples in the Starfinder system, not quadruples.
Anyway. It isn't a very GOOD build, but it is funny.
