Campfire Wall visibility from a distance

Rules Questions

Hello!

Does Campfire Wall have the same visibility from a distance as a torch held aloft, or as a 20 foot dome of torches (i.e. a gigantic bonfire)?

Text from the spell:
You can create a barrier around a fire of at least campfire size that shelters everyone inside so long as the fire continues to burn. The barrier appears as a crackling sphere of light and fire that is clearly visible, providing as much illumination as a torch.

A torch burns for 1 hour, shedding normal light in a 20-foot radius and increasing the light level by one step for an additional 20 feet beyond that area (darkness becomes dim light and dim light becomes normal light).

I would interpret this as locations within 20 feet of the barrier have normal light and locations between 20 and 40 feet of the barrier have a light level of one step higher than normal.
