Quests give no Prestige Points, no gold, and no XP. They're just extra encounters that provide a boon for PCs who go through them. -Mark Moreland
Hi All, Please help clarify what products give (or doesn't give) Prestige Points, Gold, and XP. I recently read something about modules like Masters of the Fallen Fortress previously did not give XP, but now it does. Now I'm totally confused. And how does replayability as a PC or as a GM. A table of sorts would really help.
Prestige Points, Gold, XP, Boon, [PC replay, GM replay credit, etc.]
Quest: no, no, no, yes, ...
Scenarios:
Modules:
Adventure Paths:
etc:

Context is very important here.
When Mark Moreland made those statements, the only Quest available didn't give any rewards.
That was several years and several Campaign Leaders ago.
Today there is one Quest available that grants a Chronicle with no Gold, XP or Fame, but it does grant access to a unique Legendary item.
All other Quests (to my knowledge) grant Gold, XP and Fame.
All Scenarios, Modules and Adventure Paths grant the rewards listed on their respective Chronicle Sheets or Rules References.

Thanks Nefreet.
Yes I was looking for an update to Moreland's example.
Is it an errata somewhere that I need to look up? Like finding this post in a thread.

Which leads me to this thread.

And yet still, it seems to not be the most current ruling.

The first quote you found isn't from a member of Campaign Leadership. It's a poster quoting a five year old Roleplaying Guild Guide (aka Guide to Organized Play, back then), which was clarifying an issue at the time that is no longer a problem.
Since that text no longer exists in the current Guide, you'd go with the currently available rules downloaded from the Adventure's respective product pages.
The second quote you found is explaining that you basically get two table's worth of credit for GMing one of these Modules. That's still true (you can count your credit through your account), but has nothing to do with the XP, Gold or Fame that your character is earning.
