StarFinder organized play equipment reward

Starfinder Society

Hello 1st time poster.

Last year at Gencon 50 I played Starfinder on day 1.

I only played once, it was the "Into the Unknown" Quest #5.

After the session was over I was give a Player tracker sheet that listed my exp, rep and credit rewards, all signed by the GM.

I did not look at it to closely until recently, as I want to play again this year, several sessions actually.

Towards the bottom of the tracker sheet is about 6 different pieces of equipment. All are level 1 or 2 except for a Tactical X-Gen gun lvl 6.

Is this equipment I can take? My char is a lvl 1 Heavy Weapons Soldier and I would love to have the lvl 6 Heavy Weapon.

I just wanted to make sure this was available to me, and do I take 1 item or all of them?

Please let me know how this reward equipment works.

Thank you

You can buy any of those pieces of equipment with credits if its level is up to your character level + 2 (unless you have Infamy, or certain boons). You don't get them automatically. You can use this access at any time, for example in this case, when you get to level 4.

I find it easiest to imagine - after the mission you take all the stuff your party acquired and hand it over to a quartermaster at the Lorespire complex.

They put a price value on that equipment, and give each member of the party the amount listed on the chronicle sheet - but, because you returned the equipment, you're given preferential purchasing for buying back that same gear - or gear of the same make and model.

The list of that gear is at the bottom of your sheet. There's no time limit on buying it back.

That is a really good explanation, I'm going to try and remember this for any new players at my store.
