I am rebuilding the Drowned Menagerie maps, but I find them confusing. On p. 55 the structure is described as four towers, which to me sounds as though the four round structures extend more than ten feet above the ground. The Narrow Vista ends in a staircase that descends ten feet into the ground, meaning Level 1 is subterranean. The doors on level 2 are described as being 30 feet above the floor of Level 1, which means they should be 20 feet above the ground based on my math and my understanding of the description as towers.
But, the map on p. 56 confuses me. The three tunnels marked as K9 and area K10 do not have walls. Plus there is a door from area K9 to the bridge.
So, is Level 2 of the Drowned Menagerie above ground or below?

It's been awhile since I read that part but I remember some confusion about the map...
Copy/Pasted from Rob McReary's old post...
"Rob McCreary- The stairway at K2 once connected the 2 levels of the menagerie, but since that is collapsed, they must go into one of the containment chambers and climb (or fly) up to the doors on the second level to get to areas K9 and K11. K9 and K11 are 30 feet up, and the building itself is only 40 feet tall. The 200 feet refers to how far above the falls the entire building is located.
For the Lightning Tower, if they go straight into Room L3, they might very well be attacked by the Promethean. They could try to sneak past it, or if they want to avoid it completely, then climbing or flying to the roof would be a much better option".
Hope that helps some.
