Instead of a vigilante who lives a double life, imagine a hero who has a brush with death, and now a former life. Inspired by classic pulp heroes like The Phantom, or Sam Raimi's Darkman, who died or faked their death, the Revenant Revenger is an archetype for the Vigilante that trades in the social persona for a former life that informs their heroic journey (or quest for vengeance) now but can never be reclaimed.

Did the old Fiend Folio revenant ever make another appearance?

Thankies for the response, hmmmmm, looking over all the Social Talents I don't think the trade off is really worth it, as cool as the concept is.

The idea is good, but your Remnant Talents are lame. Seriously, Social Talents are better. Well, some of them are, at least (Companion to the Lonely, Social Grace, Ancestral Enlightenment, Many Guises, and Skill Familiarity).
How about some more death centric abilities? like a Speak with Dead SLA a few (scaling) times per day, or maybe even permanent Deathwatch with scaling range?
