After placing this order, I see that there are three charges for the order amount.

Thanks for letting us know! I've taken a look and it does seem that there were 2 settlements on this order, and another authorization. I have refunded the second settlement of $17.99 back to your original payment method, so you should see that refund in 1-5 business days. I'll be sure to put through reversal requests for the extra authorization, so you should see things even out to just $17.99 for this order.
