You have brought an accessory that displays your visible support to Paizo’s organized play program. This grants you a onetime reroll during the session.
Prerequisites: Bring and display a qualifying t-shirt or messenger bag to the game.
Benefit: You can reroll a single d20 roll you make during the course of the scenario. You must follow all the reroll rules as listed on page 243 of the Starfinder Core Rulebook when using this reroll.
Special: When a player uses a free reroll, she may present her Paizo Organized Play membership card (available on their My Organized Play page) and receive an additional +1 for every GM nova she has earned, for a maximum of a +5. Note, this bonus applies to the higher result of the reroll, not just the second roll.
(Side note: I just noticed that starfinder rerolls don't use the second result when its worse)
I've seen different answers whether a PFS t shirt would qualify for that
Argument Yes: A PFS t shirt is listed under the large header "Qualifying items" so its a qualifying item
Argument No: Its not listed under the "Starfinder" heading, so it doesn't qualify in the starfinder campaign.

As a way of rewarding players who show their support for the Starfinder Society Organized Play campaign by purchasing and using items featuring campaign insignia, faction logos, or Starfinder branding, a player utilizing any of the Starfinder items on paizo.com/organizedplay/perks can slot the associated boon into his or her Promotional boon slot. Game Masters are also invited to bring promotional material to games, but they gain no additional benefits other than supporting Starfinder.
Emphasis mine, but the answer is no.

They're a bit on the short side which if you're a bigger guy can show your belly, but they don't especially fit smaller compared to standard US sizes.
Besides, for PaizoCon big guys wearing middrifts are perfectly normal for Seattle.
Worse case: Paizo staff will panic at the sight of so much belly and ensure longer, looser fitting tshirts become available.

The problem is that like most t shirt companies that don't specialize in big guys sizing the idea was to make a bigger shirt you just make it a little longer. Without making the shoulders wider or deeper or the arms bigger or to account for your belly being larger when you sit down.
The three dimensional characters wearing them take up more than the linear volume increase in length.

So do we HAVE to wear the promotional item if it doesn't 'fit right'? Or is it acceptable to have it available and on display?
I've always asked players to wear faction pins or tshirts they want to slot as promotional boons, mostly to eliminate stupid cheese like players putting pins still in their packaging on the table in front of them. At a local convention, I even had a player try to briefly show a folded tshirt from his backpack to slot his boon (keeping it clean so he could use it all 3 days).
However, requiring players with bodies too large for promotional items to wear them could be considered a violation of Paizo's Community Behavior Policy;
Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to, the excessive use of foul language, physical or verbal aggression/intimidation, lewd conduct, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, slander, stalking and harassment/discrimination based on gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion.
One could also argue that failing to offer promotional items that fit larger bodied people, or alternatives of equal benefit which are not articles of clothing, is the real problem.
We have a transgender woman in our local community who does not wear tshirts because she considers them overly masculine and thus in conflict with her gender. She also doesn't want to spend money on a tshirt she'd never wear, even if she isn't required to wear it to gain the benefit.
So she's waiting for a tote bag, messenger bag, or other similar Starfinder promotional item to become available which provides the same benefit.
... and honestly, I'd hate to see anyone buy a tshirt that doesn't fit them or feels it defies their gender just to gain a boon. Paizo should provide an alternative, and you should demand they provide it under their own non-discrimination policy.

Scrolling down farther, there are a slew of t-shirts and messenger bags, all listed under the heading “Qualifying Items for Organized Play Rewards.”
There is a mismatch between the web and Guide. The web version only requires a qualifying OP item, not specifically SFS. I’m not going to deny a player a reroll because they are wearing a Dogslicer Ale T-shirt instead of one that specifically says "Starfinder". Especially since I know the web page went up after Guide 1.0 was released.
Hence the request for clarification.

I was talking to my partner about this issue this morning, he's crafty and suggested that a tshirt need not be worn on your body to be displayed.
For example a tshirt could be cut up into a patch for a jacket, or sewn onto a bag such as a book tote or on the outer top flap of a messenger bag.

Although I wear my shirts, I admit that I keep my faction pins still in their packaging because I'm a collector. I never thought of it as a big deal, but if it really bothers people I guess I could figure something out.

I doubt the $5 pins will appreciate in value, but how do they serve as promotional items if nobody sees them?
For tshirts it'd be interesting if they offered a pre-printed, pre-cut iron-on transfers. Of course players would still show up with them still in the shipping envelope and try to slot them.
I think the core disagreement on this is whether Paizo's intention is to promote the purchasing of their non-book merchandise, or for you to promote your enthusiasm for their games by displaying/wearing their merchandise.
If the latter, then seeing it promoted on a wide variety of products serves that purpose better.
