Sins of the Saviors Runeforge Lore chart

Rise of the Runelords

Silver Crusade

The Runeforge Lore knowledge chart on page 248's DC 43 entry contains an obvious copy-paste error from the Xin-Shalast lore chart in the previous book that has nothing to do with Runeforge. Do we know what's actually supposed to be there?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The original edition has the following lore:

Sins of the Saviors wrote:

33 Runeforge was created as a place where agents of the seven runelords could gather to study magic and develop new spells and magic items.

37 The runelords wove wards around Runeforge that barred entrance into the complex to any runelord or his direct agents, in order to keep the research within free from sabotage at the hands of an enemy.

40 Those who joined Runeforge joined for life. The complex’s constant renewal of air and a magical matrix sustained those within without the need to eat, drink, or even sleep.

43 The final project the runelords set Runeforge on was the development of ways the runelords could escape the imminent fall of their empire. Each faction developed a unique answer for its runelord, based upon the underlying principles of that faction’s magical traditions.

So the info which in Anniversary Edition is DC 50 should be DC 43, and there should be no more info at DC 50.

Silver Crusade

Ah. The Anniversary Edition's chart does not disclose that those who joined Runeforge joined for life. I suppose, since they did hit DC 50 with the aid of the Jorgenfist library, that I should let them know that. :P
