Did my order go through?

I made an order last night and my account put a hold on the amount, but neither my order history or my cart was updated. I also did not receive a conformation email.


If it's any consolation, I also sent an inquiry to customer.support@paizo.com. I would give an order number, but since it is not in my history and I did not receive an email I do not have one.

Hello Nerkles,

Your card was declined due to failing the address verification system. Usually this happens when the billing address attached to the card does not match what the bank has on file.

What you are seeing is not a charge. When you tried to submit the order the issuing bank was pinged to make sure the card was valid. When this happens most banks will put a temporary hold on the funds, which can look like a pending transaction on your end. Because the card was declined we cannot finalize that authorization. If not finalized authorizations expire and the holds are released. How long this takes is entirely up to the bank and not something we can control.


Ah, I see. Very well then. I will wait for the bank to release the hold and submit another order when I can, and maybe put the right address this time. Thanks.
