Mindblade Hardness

Rules Questions

I play a mindblade magus, and the question came up last night of whether or not the weapon could be sundered, or if it even has a hardness since it is made of psychic energy. Could someone point me in the direction of the rules regarding this? Thanks!

As best I can tell, a mindblade would have all of the characteristics of whatever weapon is manifested, including magical bonuses.

Sundering a mindblade would actually be less useful than sundering a normal weapon because the magus can easily dismiss the broken weapon and summon a new one.

Upon further reading, I was thinking the same thing.

"At 1st level, a psychic weapon counts as a magic weapon of whatever type the mindblade selected, with a +1 enhancement bonus."

Now that I have a +2 bonus, this would factor in to the hardness.
