AC Dex and Full-Plate

Hello.
So, I just wanted to make sure, if someone where's full plate no matter what their Dex is they only get a +1 from it due to the max dex bonus on the armor right? Is there anyway to get more from your dex to your AC if you wear full plate?

You are correct. There are a couple ways to get more of your Dex bonus to AC if in full plate. To name two:

1) Armor training class feature of a fighter.

2) Wear armor made of mithril or other materials/bearing suitable enchantments that permits a higher Dex bonus to AC.

Ways to increase the DEX cap:

• Nimble Property (+2)
  
• Mithral (+2)
  
• Bulette Armor (+2)
  
• Armor Training I - IV (+1 - +4)
  

A fighter with Armor Training IV and Mithral Nimble Full Plate Armor can benefit from a +9 DEX bonus.
