What it says. There are lots of posts from people saying "ehh, didn't bother" or "tried them for a while, but no". Not so many posts from people who had fun with them. But negative posts tend to outweigh positives for this sort of thing, so it's not clear what the situation really is.
So, did anyone run with the Rebellion rules and have a good time with it? -- Note that house-ruling and modifying the rules counts. I don't care if you used them exactly as written, as long as you used something roughly recognizable.

Never got a chance to run them as a GM, but I did get to use them as a player and had quite a lot of fun organizing and agitating. Then again, wish fulfillment played a big role in that.
