They got recruited as a team when I played. Moved to the new base when we eventually got said new base.
One of them (I think it was Maggie) was our first allied casualty.
They ended up taking over the Strix sorcerer's nest and being the team they take undesirables to for "exile"... which may even that they are exiled.
My players botched the heck out of their diplomacy, ran from a fight with them, locked them back in the basement, and then started smoking them out.
The Tengu ran into the sewers. They missed the bonus team but I gave them another bonus team of ex-Red Jills.

My players recruited them, and for the most part they stayed posted in the Wasp Nest with Laria and a few others as the "Villegre Command". Then some books later since they weren't really using them or checking up on that part of the city, I decided that it was a good place for a certain group of spidery assassins to strike at the rebels. The tengu were all slaughtered while buying time for Laria to escape.

I'll have to keep that in mind if ever the PCs stop paying attention to any of the groups they've set up.
