Hi all,
Since the fuse grenade is depicted as a large spherical object with a use in the official Paizo documentation:
http://paizo.com/image/content/PathfinderRPG/PZO1115-AlchemistsCheatsheet.j pg
...and the pellet grenade is defined as being very similar.
Considering that the grenade has the same weight as a tar bomb, I'd assume it is more or less a head-sized sphere.
So...do you think would be possible to smear it with blasting jelly twice for each dose and stack two doses to obtain the following:
FUSE GRENADE
2d6 points of bludgeoning damage + 1d6 points of fire damage in 10-foot radius
2d6 points of bludgeoning damage + 5d6 points of fire damage in the 5 foot square where the grenade detonates.
IRON PELLET GRENADE
1d6 points of bludgeoning damage + 1d6 points of piercing damage + 1d6 points of fire damage in 10-foot radius
1d6 points of bludgeoning damage + 1d6 points of piercing damage + 5d6 points of fire damage in the 5 foot square where the grenade detonates.
Since there is no indication that the blasting jelly cannot be stacked, potentially, could be possible to add more doses, but I think adding just 2 doses seems kind of "reasonable"...and the direct hit in the area of the detonation would be still quite damaging!! For example, would be very useful to deal with extremely dangerous, non-fire-resistant opponents who you fail to hit with your weapons!!
What do you think?
There is some potential issue with this idea?
Thanks,
Skarm
