Goblin Divine Commander - New Player - Build Suggestions

Advice

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am new. I haven't picked up a DnD style rulebook in 25 years. I am starting to play with some larping friends. I am familiar enough to know that certain builds would be viable only within a certain level range. I don't know much about the meta.

My friend and I want to play goblin brothers <insert blah blah back story>
He is an alchemist which has nice synergies with goblin race. His character is what it is.

I'm a warpriest so I want my role to be buffing/healing for support (cleric) role and disabling/debuffing/support dps as combat (fighter)role. I'm riding a wolf.

Does anyone have any build suggestions? Feat chains etc. Is a wolf mount or Divine Commander even viable at end game? Does choosing a small race make the concept nonviable?

Thanks

Edit: Can anyone suggest a good character/career builder that's up to date with ACG and ARG and not super buggy? I don't mind paying for a good one.

I thought for the wolf focusing on Spring Attack and Trip. Will the wolf be able to take enough feats to make that viable? Also, Can I make a melee attack during the Wolf's Spring Attack?
