Cannot add threads to lists

I've been trying to add threads to my favorite threads list but I find when I click on 'list,' on the first post, the post temporarily vanishes, and no option to add shows up.

I can add later posts if I want, but adding a specific post won't tell me if there's new posts on the thread.

Oh, addum- I can't list posts on the second page (and presumably any past the first?) either.

I've been having the same problem for months.

Until a thread has a response, I cannot list it at all.
Clicking "list" simply refreshes the page
If a thread has a response, clicking "list" refreshes the page and hides the first post.
I can eventually get the list popup for the 2nd post, but the thread itself is still unlistable.

And this makes it *way* harder to follow RP threads.
