Hello Dizzydoo,
Thanks for your questions! I'll try to address them as best I can.
1) We don't charge for items until they are processed for shipment, so nothing in your sidecart would have been paid for. You may have seen an authorization appear on your account when you first placed the orders, but we do not finalize those until you receive your shipping notification. You can still cancel both products, but there would not be any payment to refund. For more information about our authorization process, please visit our authorization FAQ here.
2) We also have an FAQ that explains the 'focus' feature. Essentially, clicking 'focus' will make it so our messageboards only show you posts you have viewed or posted in, and notify you when there are new posts in those threads.
3) Our forums are just one way to contact us. You can also email us at customer.service@paizo.com, or you can call us at (425) 250-0800. Our phone lines are open Monday through Friday from 10am-5pm Pacific time. This contact information is also available in the footer text on every page of our website, just in case. :)
