Magic item (or feat) to widen an effect - where to start?

Homebrew and House Rules

I'm playing a warder with the zweihander sentinel archetype and I was wanting to come up with an item to increase the aegis aura back up to 30' I've had a look and I realised I have no idea where to start to value such an item.

I've found this paladin spell, widen auras and if I use that as a base I get 2(spell level)x7(minimum caster level)x2000x2(minutes/level duration)= 56000gp which feels way too high but it does affect all auras - even at half that it feels a little high at 28K.

IS 10k/10' increase a reasonable start point? how would you go about pricing such an item?
Would a feat be a better idea?

Thanks for your help

Thought I'd give this another chance.

Honestly, this feels like a question for your GM - it'll be an entirely custom item, and if they're not willing to allow it, nothing we can suggest really matters.

Personally, I wouldn't allow it - part of archetypes is losing some features to gain others, and items usually shouldn't grant class abilities. If I were to allow it, though, I'd probably price it as a Lesser Metamagic Rod of Widen (14,000 GP), since it's constant but would only work on one ability. And take up your Body magic item slot, since that's the space for class ability improvements.
