This is actually sort of a weird case. The boots of striding a springing are a direct import from 3.5, including cost. The change from 3.5 to Pathfinder included some skill consolidation though, so jump is no longer its own skill and is now part of acrobatics, which includes other things as well.
So on the one hand, it was already priced to give the full bonus to a single skill. On the other hand, it was priced to provide the function it did and a 3.5 version of what you want would cost the an additional 3,750 (actually more if you include balance as well as tumble, but no one would).
I'd personally add in that I consider the bonus to skill section generally problematic in custom item creation, often yielding things that are too cheap, one reason being that all skills are definitely not created equal.
Certainly from my experience the boots are still quite popular, so upgrading them does need to have a cost. I'd put it a bit higher than the 1,250 Darksol gave, I think an additional 2k is a better number, yielding a final price of 7500 gp.
