So I've been poking at some characters for an upcoming Starfinder game I may be hosting with some friends this spring, and I've recently (a few minutes prior to posting this) had an idea for a Mystic Connection. The basic idea would be something akin to a Warlock from Pathfinder, making a deal with something, in this case a dragon, and drawing power from it. Mechanically I suspect something like this would work like a Dragon Disciple, with the Mystic slowly adopting more and more draconic traits until eventually becoming a half dragon themselves.
But I'm kind of unsure.
Would it be possible to retool the Dragon Disciple for something like this, or would an entire scrubbing of the idea be for the best?
