Storm druid advice / "otherwise functions as" clarification

Rules Questions

Seasons greetings fellow role-players!

I beseech you for your combined expert advice, as I set here creating my first pathfinder caster.

I have decided on a human storm druid.

I have a concept that I would like to build around, and have spoken to my DM on the matter, he advised me to check forums... but I have not really found anything.

I would like to buff lightning bolts from "call lightning" essentially with several feats making it the cornerstone feature of the build.

If then I do spend feats on "call lightning" will those same feats have any effect on spells such as "call lightning storm" which is essentially the same spell with higher dice and CL or the "lightning lord" SLA from the weather domain, both of which feature the text "This (ability/spell) otherwise functions as call lightning."?

All advice and tricks you would share concerning this class archetype will be appreciated.

It will be a high powered long running mythic campaign starting at level 2.

It would depend upon which feats you mean.

Feats like Spell Focus and Elemental Focus would affect both spells. A feat that specifically only affects one spell, like Spell Perfection, would not.

Call lightning storm is a different spell from call lightning. It references call lightning to avoid unnecessary duplication of text.

That is unfortunate. Thank you both. Any further advice still appreciated.
