Can Familiars use cybertech items in PFS

Pathfinder Society

In one of the scenarios I played, one of the treasures that you are granted access to is a non magical high tech item (though it functions like a magic item) that goes into the cybertech body slot. Are familiars allowed to use this item in PFS?

(I hope I am vague enough to not break the spoilers rules while being specific enough to get a useful answer.)

I don't recall seeing anything official about something like this. The first thing I'd ask is, does the familiar in question have a corresponding magic item slot? Yes they take up separate "slots", but if say the familiar doesn't have access to a magic torso slot, they shouldn't be able to use a torso cybertech item either.

The cybertech rules do call out creature, so as far as that goes they'd be eligible, but it's probably something John or Linda would have to chime in on.

I would use the same rules as a magic item. Sufficiently advanced technology after all...
