When Aroden died, was it over the course of the year or on one day?

Earlier, I had asked if there was any information on what date Aroden actually died. I assumed when he died, crap went down everywhere, the worldwound opened, the eye of Abendego formed, a similar storm formed on a distant planet, the angels had a concordance with one another.... yet, no publication and no character has made reference on what date on the calendar it was.

That got me thinking: was the death of Aroden and all the surrounding unpleasantness something that happened over a period of time? If the hurricane formed at a different day that the wound opened up and a different day Aroden was set to return to Cheliax, that would make the date itself seem less noticable for people. I ask about this because there are player character races since the very beginning of pathfinder who could be old enough to have been alive when all this went down, yet we don't have information on what day on the calendar it happened on.

The Worldwound opened later and was nothing to do with Aroden's death, the witch Areelu Vorlesh established contact with Deskari whilst she was locked up for being all witchy and evil, and it all went downhill from there. The storms seem kind of random and there's been no real attempt to explain them, so I'd assume they'd have formed the moment Aroden died. I s'pose something else might have formed them though and Paizo just haven't gotten around to talking about it yet though, who knows.

Aroden was expected to return to Golarion on a specific date. On the eve of his return, the world was wracked with storms that lasted 3 weeks (the Eye of Abendego is a particularly violent one of these storms that also happens to have never stopped). So he didn't show up on time, and was incommunicado while the world sort of held its breath. And he didn't answer prayers anymore. And then things just basically fell apart in quick succession. As with anyone else, however, his death was an instantaneous thing that happened and then was over. One second he was alive and the next he was not. When that exact second was, and the circumstances around it, are a mystery. The lead-up to and fallout from his death were much longer than that, however.

As with most specific events in the world, we have not declared a specific date when it happened, because ultimately it happened 100 years ago and it doesn't really matter what day of the week or year he actually died on. Some related events have since been comemmorated with holidays (like 19 Rova, which was when Iomedae formally adopted Aroden's former faithful into her chruch) but strangely, none of Aroden's faithful wanted to celebrate the day their god died. So ultimately, it can be whatever day of the year you want or need it to have been to make your story work.
