However when I search the source text, Adventurer's Armory, and free sources like the pfsrd or archives of nethys the weapon grouping doesn't appear. Am I blind?
Is herolab full of shit, or do they know something we don't?
I bet herolab doesn't have an option to have a weapon not be part of any group, which is what the dwarven maulaxe technically is since it's never been listed in any. They did make the same choices I would for it.
I thought they might have got it from this PFS source, but I can't see the maulaxe on the thrown list.
